Sony will present a keynote address at the Tokyo Game Show today, September 18th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Pacific/9:30 p.m. Eastern/11.30 a.m. AEST*(September 19th at 10:30 a.m. in Japan).
Titled “The World Created by PlayStation 4,” speakers during the keynote will include Andrew House, (Sony Computer Entertainment President and Group CEO), Masayasu Ito (SVP and Division President of Business Division 1) and Shuhei Yoshida (President of Sony Worldwide Studios). According to the keynote’s official description, it will include “detailed specification of this latest system and its exclusive software titles.” In addition, “the new gaming experience that can be realized with the Playstation 4 platform will be introduced together with the latest information.”
Sony confirmed last week that PlayStation 4 will launch in Japan in 2014, roughly three months after its Western launch on November 29th, 2013 in Europe, Australia and New Zealand and November 15 in the US and Canada.
