The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has topped Amazon.co.uk’s poll to determine the generation’s greatest game. Agree?
The poll was voted on between June 1 and August 4 by customers, and operated in a tournament system.
Skyrim beat fellow semi-finalists The Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves to claim the mantle.
Here’s a breakdown of the tournament table, scroll down for a larger version:

other games involved in the shortlist were Fallout 3, GTA 4, BioShock, Portal 2, Mass Effect 2, Super Mario Galaxy, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Batman: Arkham City, Far Cry 3, BioShock Infinite, The Walking Dead and Metal Gear Solid 4.
What do you think of the final winner? Let us know below.
Thanks MCV.

I am totally fine with the result here. Skyrim is amazing all-around. Unlimited replay value, massive world, incredible/varied environment, coll plot lines, and lots of customization all make this game great. I got this used for $40 about a year and a half ago and it almost never left my 360.

Other games on the poll that I really liked were RDR, Portal 2 and COD4. Playing through TWD currently and Uncharted 2 is next up for PS3.
