Movers and Shakers: Dave the Psychotoad (ECFBL) jumped 124 places to 367th this week. Since July 15, they have improved 243 positions. Blue Heaven 3 (Cougars Welcomed) moved into the top 100, gaining 59 spots to finish the week in 86th place. BH3 is in a tight battle in their league, sitting in 4th place, but just 4 points out of first.
Free Agents: Sonny Gray was the most added player in the last seven days, and is now 91% owned. After being dropped in 16 leagues the previous week, Xander Bogaerts was added in 33 with his callup to Boston, leaving him available in just 3 leagues. Here are the players with the biggest change in ownership:
EXPERTS: Dr. Roto sits atop the Expert league for the 8th consecutive week. His ERA this week was 2.47, marking the 9th time in the last 11 weeks it was under 3. Rudy, now 4.5 back, led the league with 54 runs and 16 home runs, as well as 9 saves. He managed to record only one win, though. Bret Sayre made the biggest move, jumping from 6th to 4th with a 6-point gain. He counted 47 runs and 47 RBI, and led the league in pitching ratios with an ERA of 2.43 and 1.09 WHIP. Grey lost 2-and-a-half points and fell one position to fifth as his pitching faltered (3.94 ERA) after 2 impressive weeks (2.15, 2.36). You can find all Expert League unofficial Week 20 stats here.
Writers: Another fine week from Tehol Beddict and his lead is now 14.5. He has been known to fall asleep with a big lead, though, so all hope is not lost for the rest of the league. Tehol also moved up to 18th in the overall standings, his highest placing of the year. Check out all the writers’ week 20 stats.
2012 RCL Champions League: Your 2011 Razzball Commenter League champion Random ItalicizedVoice has opened up a 7-point lead over Big Magoo and Podcast Nick Capozzi and moved up to 90th place overall. RIV also holds down 37th place with his team from Cracking The WHIP. Big Magoo’s three teams range from 104th to 164th. All 3 are currently in second place in their individual leagues.
