Nokia has officially unveiled the Lumia 1520, the company's long-rumored 6-inch Windows Phone device. Announced at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi, the full-sized Lumia includes powerful hardware, a few software tweaks, and, unsurprisingly, a powerful camera.
Beneath its 1080p LCD screen, the Lumia 1520 packs a 2.2GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 3,400 mAh battery with wireless charging, and 32GB of storage plus microSD card support. On the photography side of things, Nokia's latest is equipped with a 20-megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics and image stabilization.
The Lumia 1520 will be using a newer version of Windows Phone, which allows support for 1080p displays and adds a third column of Live Tiles so users can utilize the added screen real estate more effectively.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 will launch this quarter in the United States (through AT&T), Hong Kong, Singapore, China, and Europe, and is expected to cost $749 unsubsidized.
