Privacy is something we all sacrifice to an extent when we sign up for Facebook, Google, Twitter, or any of these sites. Sure, it can be disconcerting at times..but if you aren't doing anything wrong, what do you have to worry about?

I'm sure that Google wouldn't put their customers in any direct danger, knowing it would directly affect their business.

I read this the other day. I think it invasion of privacy. The whole purpose of Google was to be used as a search engine, not a way to track where we have been...To The Bat Cave!!

And Google can't track you as well if you don't have an account..I think the fact that they were streamlining your account details between YouTube, Gmail, and similar is what this video was really discussing. If all you want is a plain search engine, avoid having a Google account of any sort; that should keep you fairly anonymous.

I made this search engine my default on Chrome. https://www.startpage.com/It uses Google but your search goes through them, then they turn around and use google to search for you, then turn around and give you the results that google gave them. Basically a middle man, so you're anonymous. It's basically like a secure, encrypted proxy from what I could gather from their details page. I never sign into google when I use the search engine, but I am usually auto signed into my YT account all the time and I don't want to risk them somehow tracking my searches through me being signed into YT somehow. And I just bought an Android phone weeks ago that is signed in to google all the time, wish I'd of known all this was gonna go down before that.
FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU Google!

LMAO dont rage about your phone connected to google. rage over the fact that any cell phone company can literally profile you over how you use your phone. everything you do on your phone they track AND record to profile you.

Seriously, what do you have to hide? Why does it matter? I honestly don't care. We post all this stuff about ourselves on the internet, but the moment a large corporation can see it, it's a big deal.

LMFAO RC.

and ye despite what they tell us about "privacy" the government will still have ways to track the activities of it's citizens. As long as you aren't breaking laws or plotting terrorism, who gives a shit?

Many of you have seen my penis. Hows that for privacy! :) lmfao

Google is free...many search engines are, but google is probably the most widely used and the one we are all most familiar with. So what if they track some information? And how is it that "we the people" think we have some sort of divine right to privacy on someone else's website?

Like everyone said above me, I wouldn't really worry unless I'm a bomb maker. Look the gov't already does this thing called blacklisting. It's when you search "suspicious" stuff, aka, How to build a bomb, or where to get uranium. Just be smart on your searches, and don't think about it. My school knows my every move, but do I think about it? No.
