Tomasz Gop, executive producer of Lords of the Fallen, confirmed the resolution differences with IGN during a preview event. He explained that's the only difference between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions, however.
Talking with IGN earlier this year, Gop acknowledged that CI Games was having a tough time getting the resolution for Lords of the Fallen up to 1080p on Xbox One. And there reportedly aren't any plans to bump up the Xbox One resolution — similar to what Blizzard did with Diablo III — as the team is just working on fixes ahead of the game's upcoming release.
