Well, it's summer, and I read a book, that wasn't required for homework... I feel like areal member of society now. I have to take a Shakespeare class in the fall :)doh:) and I want to get a head start, so at work, I read instead of working.

I read "The Merchant of Venice" which is supposed to be a comedy, but it coulda fooled me. This story was all about how Jewish people are pure evil and only concerned with money... I was shocked, it was really fucked up, that Shakespeare was one sick bastard.

Next Up: Othello

Merchant of Venice was the Shakespeare book we had to read in grade 9, then romeo and juliet in grade 10. I hate shakespeare, but thats my opinion.

Dan Brown's books are awesome like Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci code

I read Othello, it was all about interracial secks.

I just read A Midsummer Night's Dream today at work and it had more TWSS lines in it than anything I've ever seen. The whole is seriously about squirting (and I quote) "love juice" into people's eyes . And it got into some bestiality as well... Idk what Shakespeare was thinking when he wrote that book lmao.

I used to read constantly before I moved out because frankly, there was nothing else I was allowed to do. Now Shakespeare I hear isn't that great to read and he seems like a strange fellow, but on the whole reading is a good thing with which you can actually LEARN some things. So Cpt, I'm with you bro, keep reading, they may call you a geek or something along those lines but that's just because they are trying to make you look bad to make themselves look better. And we all know that Cpt is the bomb so no worries. DM4L!!!!!!!!!!

I read half of Hamlet at work today and it is pretty badass. Ghosts in armor, ear poison, incest, people acting insane, feeding a corpse to pigs to hide the evidence, this play has it all!

Hamlet is like The Lion king for those of you who cant read and say that books suck. And the Twelth Night is like She's The Man. Theres alot of movies out now that arebased on shakespeare that 90% of you wouldnt know. That means youve taken shakespeare without even knowing :D

Yeah Nick I knew a lot of movies are based on Shakespeare plays, I never made the lion King connection, but it makes sense now lol. I know "10 Things I Hate About You" is based on "Taming Of The Shrew" which Heath Ledger was in. I saw a comedian and he made a crack about it "Heath Ledger's suicide note was called '10 Things I hate about Me'" :rofl4:

Also for those who watch LOST, it is based on The Tempest. I wrote a paper on it, so suck it!
