We go in-depth with the new BF4 expansion pack.

Naval Strike is the latest expansion pack, and while it has been delayed on the PC, console players (who are Premium members) can now enjoy the latest DLC. The Battlefield 4 Naval Strike expansion pack takes the battle to the sea, with four new maps, new weapons, vehicles, and more. Read on for our full rundown of the Naval Strike expansion.
[h=3]Naval Strike maps[/h]The Naval Strike expansion includes four new maps, all of which are based around water and naval combat. Each of the maps has its own style and unique setting, and each support the brand new Carrier Assault game mode (more on that later). Here’s the full list of new maps:
Be sure to also check out some Naval Strike gameplay videos, which give us a great look into the new maps and their features.
[h=3]Naval Strike weapons and gadgets[/h]Just like all other BF4 expansions, Naval Strike brings along some new weapons and gadgets. There is a new assault rifle, a new sniper rifle, new pistol, and some new gadgets as well — including the anti air mine, the first time it appears in the Battlefield series.
[h=3]Carrier Assault[/h]Naval Strike brings along a brand new game mode called Carrier Assault. It’s a re-imagining of the popular Titan game mode from BF2142, where players have to break down the defenses of the enemies’ ships, before boarding them and planting the final explosives. Check out the tutorial video for Carrier Assault, and a gameplay video as well:
[h=3]Release[/h]The Naval Strike expansion is available now for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One owners. It’s free to all Premium members, while regular price is $15. A few days ago, DICE revealed that Naval Strike has been delayed on the PC, and will be released later alongside a new patch.
