The make-up is designed to make your eyes look like a plastic doll's. The image, via Twitter user @yun___yu, is from Popteen, which is one of Japan's most popular teen fashion mags and which is also known for off-the-wall photoshoots. The look isn't mainstream and hopefully it will stay that way.
Online in Japan, people compared the style to ventriloquist dummies, goblins, and Furby.
