No it is not. I'm learning to play as well (mostly interested in Reggae style) and it's hard, but with dedication, you'll get there. It will take a long while to learn something like that.

I've been self-teaching myself for three years.
If I worked at it, I could probably do that without too much trouble.
Once he gets past all the picking parts, he's playing fairly simple chords.
But if you've never played guitar before..it'd take awhile to learn. It just depends on how much you practice.

Sorry to double post.
This guy is my guitar hero. Ahaha. He's amazing, to say the least. My goal is to be able to play like him.
Search "Joe Robinson" on YouTube, and listen to "The Chatterbox."

I play guitar, i have 2.

If you start playing right now, it will take you about a year to be decent. It all depends on how much you'll be committed to practicing and learning.

ofcourse i play metal and rock.

but if you get a guitar, you should buy the 200 dollar one cause your burly starting.

Acoustic guitar is a totally different game from electric. Once you get past the basics, you've gotta pick your side.

I recommend a simple $100 guitar to start. Durable enough to last, but not luxurious enough to keep forever.
