Premium members can enjoy double XP right now.
In case you weren’t aware of it, there is currently a double XP event for all Premium subscribers of Battlefield 4. The event takes place all weekend, and is only available to players who are Premium members.
The double XP factor kicks in automatically after each round. Whatever points players accumulate during the round, including award score, gets doubled up (much like the double up XP boost). Double XP weekends are a great way of unlocking new weapons and unlocks that usually require a lot of grind to unlock.
The current Battlefield 4 Premium event was originally supposed to be held earlier this month, but was delayed due to patch and server problems with the game. Premium members get at least one double XP weekend per month, in addition to other features (such as free access to all Battlefield 4 DLC).
