As the hype machine fires up for Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, a series of benchmark screenshots claiming to be from said phone appear to confirm multiple rumors.
Samsung is supposedly mere weeks away from announcing the Galaxy S5, and benchmarks seem to confirm that we’re not far away from seeing just about exactly what has been speculated upon recently.
The leaks come in the form of screenshots from the AnTuTu benchmarking tool, and while that does very little to tell us how well the phone will perform in real work scenarios, especially given Samsung’s history of intentionally rigging the game, it’s got all the right parts to make for an impressive handheld.

The benchmark screenshots confirm a Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and a 16MP rear facing camera, which all line up well with rumors the that have been circling about the phone up to this point.
The 1080p display may not sound like an improvement over the current batch of displays after hearing that there might be a much higher resolution on this phone, but at 480ppi the screen has a pixel density that is dramatically greater than the Nexus 5.
It’s worth pointing out that these benchmarks are from December, and so are almost certainly not from a final build of the Galaxy S5 software. Take the performance results you see here with a grain of salt, because they could certainly end up being higher by the time the phone launches.
