New videos reveal the awful rubber banding and netcode problems in the game after the latest patch.
The latest Battlefield 4 patch was supposed to help alleviate some of the netcode and rubber banding issues in the game, but it not only failed to do that, it actually made it worse. On 64-player servers especially, and in the new Naval Strike expansion, Battlefield 4 is unplayable at times, as the videos show.
The rubber banding problems are prevalent across all platforms now, including the PC. yesterday, DICE finally acknowledged the Battlefield 4 rubber banding and netcode issues, saying that the fault lies in poor server hardware. DICE is currently upgrading their server hardware to address these problems.

This is rubber banding on the PlayStation 4, on a good Internet connection with low ping:

This is in the regular vanilla game on Siege of Shanghai. It certainly wasn’t this bad prior to the latest patch:
