Looking to get your hands on Apple's newest iPhones? At 12:01am PT today, Apple and other retailers began taking pre-orders for the new iPhone 5C, which starts at $99 with a new two-year contract and $549 unlocked. As noted earlier this week, the iPhone 5S was unusually omitted from early pre-orders, but those who want to secure a unit as soon as it's available next week, Apple will begin taking orders at midnight PT, September 20th through its official website. Consumers will presumably be able to select in-store pickup for when stores open in the morning or elect to have it shipped to their house the following week.
Prospective iPhone 5S owners will be able to place an order for home delivery on the 20th or arrange an in-store pickup, provided there is available stock.
Those still on the fence can check out our hands-on impressions or wait until our comprehensive reviews of both the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S.
