Google is expected to unveil its new Nexus smartphone within the coming months, but we may already know almost everything there is to know about the device thanks to a leaked service manual. Obtained by Android Police, the alleged manual details, among other things, the specs of Google's LG-made Nexus 5.

According to the document, the next Google-sanctioned handset is said to be equipped with a 4.95-inch 1080p IPS TFT display, a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2,300 mAh battery, and 16GB or 32GB of storage. Unlike the Nexus 4, the upcoming Nexus is expected to be LTE-compatible right out of the box.
The Snapdragon*MSM8974 chip is the same found in LG's speedy new G2, which also packs the same amount of RAM. The screen size and battery of the new Nexus*are slightly smaller than LG's flagship handset, and the camera's megapixel count is lower as well.
Last year's Nexus 4 included a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC, 2GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 display, and an 8-megapixel camera, and launched with an extremely affordable price tag of $299 unlocked.
If the specifications are real, will you be picking up the Android 4.4 KitKat-powered Nexus 5? Let us know in the comments below.
Editor's note: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated that the Nexus 5 would have microSD card support.
