Astro Gaming makes some of the most highly regarded gaming headsets in the world. And with the impending launch of Battlefield 4, the company has announced an update to its wireless A50 line, complete with new colors and a DICE-developed audio setting.

The Astro Gaming A50 Battlefield 4 Edition is apparently Astro's first licensed Microsoft headset. And while today's announcement reiterates the headset was "developed for Xbox 360," you can still use them with a PlayStation 3, PC, or Mac. Xbox 360 owners will receive an exclusive set of Astro Gaming dog tags in Battlefield 4, however.
Much like the original Astro A50s, the Battlefield 4 Edition includes three audio pre-sets. But this special edition includes a specific Battlefield 4 EQ setting, finely tuned by the game's developers at DICE. Outside of the audio setting, the new headset looks an awful lot like the regular A50s, but with some minor orange accents and the word "Battlefield" written on the side.
The Battlefield 4 Edition A50s are available now for $300. Astro has also released custom, Battlefield 4 speaker tags for the Astro A40 headset for $25. A Battlefield 4 A40 bundle is also available for $260.
