A PS4 patch, meant for release today, has been postponed for "additional testing".
DICE promised last week that a new Battlefield 4 patch for PS4 players would be available this week, but now the patch has been “rescheduled”.
DICE informed players about the change in a new forum post, where an administrator said that the PS4 patch is currently undergoing additional testing.
There was no new patch date given, the only additional information given was that “players will be kept up to date”. DICE has already released one PlayStation 4 patch which fixed some of the crashing on the PS4, as well as some other platform-specific problems.
Earlier today, DICE released a brand new PC client patch for Battlefield 4, alongside the new China Rising expansion. In addition to the PS4 patch, Xbox 360 and PS3 patches are confirmed to be in the pipeline.
Hopefully the new patches will be released sooner than later, so that as many players as possible can enjoy the game problem free. But Battlefield 4 will never be 100% bug free, according to a recent comment from EA.
