The Commander app is coming on November 19 on iOS and Android, and we got a few videos of the app in action.
When the Battlefield 4 Commander app will be released on November 19, it’ll be available for free to all BF4 players and is linked directly to the main Battlelog account. In other words, you play the same Commander on a tablet as you do on a PC or console. Even better, if you have a cell connection on your tablet, you can play from anywhere — a coffee shop, a train, a bus, wherever.
And judging by the first few videos of the Battlefield 4 Commander app, it looks very polished and responsive. The zoom in and tracking features look smooth and easy to use, and the whole app seems to have a lot of quality. This might be due to the fact that the Commander app isn’t built on the Frostbite 3 engine, but uses another engine that’s optimized for tablets. You can even communicate by voice to the squad leaders and give them orders that way.
The Commander app will be available on iOS and Android on November 19. As mentioned before, it’ll be a free download. Check out a couple of in-depth videos of the new Commander app in action:
