(Updated*AUGUST 16th) The NFL is changing and fantasy football is changing right along with it.* The NFL is a passing league now and as a result the numbers we have come to expect out of QB’s and WR’s has risen sharply.* We used to hope for 4000 yards passing and 25 TD’s out of the top QB’s in the league.* Nowadays those numbers are league average and alone just aren’t going to cut it.* The rushing stats are where it’s at these days.* When you can get a QB who runs the football you limit the downside and maximize the upside of every weeks performance.* There is still a place for the classic pocket passers but you need to be aware of the tremendous advantage these QB’s who are coming into the league and running for 500+ yards are bringing to their fantasy owners.* Quarterback also presents the greatest value of any position in fantasy football.* I strongly recommend waiting on drafting a QB until the fifth round where you will find a very comparable player to the one you would have taken in the second or third round.* Let the other teams in your league use their high picks on the position that will obviously get the most points while you scoop up premium RB’s & WR’s.* You’ll have a much easier time finding impact QB’s late than you will any other position.* With that I give you my Official 2013 Quarterback Rankings:
